Instructions 

  1. 1. Crack the eggs into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and pepper, and whisk until well combined.
  2. 2. Heat the butter in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until melted and foamy.
  3. 3. Pour the eggs into the skillet and let them sit for a few seconds, then gently stir with a spatula.
  4. 4. As the eggs begin to set, tilt the skillet to let the uncooked eggs flow to the edges.
  5. 5. Once the eggs are mostly set but still slightly runny on top, fold the omelette in half and slide it onto a plate.
