  • 4 large Russet Potatoes peeled and cut into strips
  • 1 quart Vegetable Oil for frying
  • to taste Salt

Instructions 

  1. 1. Peel and cut potatoes into strips.
  2. 2. Soak potatoes in cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat oil in deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. 4. Fry potatoes in batches for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
  5. 5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt.
