Ingredients

  • 1 cup Warm Water
  • 2 tablespoon White Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Active Dry Yeast
  • 2.5 cups Bread Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve sugar in warm water. Stir in yeast and let sit until foamy, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add flour, oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 minutes.
  4. Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Punch down the dough and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a roll and place on a greased baking sheet.
  6. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
