Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup water warm
  • 3 tablespoon vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour and salt.
  2. Add the warm water and vegetable oil. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead for a few minutes until smooth.
  4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and roll each piece into a ball.
  5. Using a rolling pin, roll each ball into a thin circle.
  6. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook each tortilla for about 1 minute on each side, until brown spots appear.
  7. Keep the tortillas warm in a towel until ready to serve.
