Ingredients

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 2 cups buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. Marinate the drumsticks in buttermilk for at least 1 hour.
  2. 2. In a bowl, mix flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  4. 4. Dredge the marinated drumsticks in the flour mixture.
  5. 5. Fry the drumsticks for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. 6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
