Main Ingredients
- 2 lbs Figs fresh, stemmed and quartered
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
- 1 cup Water
Combine figs, sugar, lemon juice, and water in a large saucepan.
Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
