  • 2 lbs Figs fresh, stemmed and quartered
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 cup Water

Instructions 

  1. Combine figs, sugar, lemon juice, and water in a large saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  4. Pour into sterilized jars and seal.
