Main Ingredients
- 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
- ½ cup Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- ¼ cup Fresh Parsley chopped
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- ¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
- 3 tablespoon All-purpose Flour
- ¼ cup Vegetable Oil for frying
1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, and baking powder. Pulse until mixture is coarse and holds together.
2. Transfer mixture to a mixing bowl and stir in flour. Form into small patties or balls.
3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry falafel patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
4. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
