Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Baking Powder
  • 3 tablespoon All-purpose Flour
  • ¼ cup Vegetable Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cumin, coriander, salt, pepper, and baking powder. Pulse until mixture is coarse and holds together.
  2. 2. Transfer mixture to a mixing bowl and stir in flour. Form into small patties or balls.
  3. 3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry falafel patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. 4. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
