English Sausage Rolls Recipe

- 1 lb Sausage meat
- 1 sheet Puff pastry thawed if frozen
- 1 Egg beaten
- 1 tablespoon Milk
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a mixing bowl, combine the sausage meat with any desired seasonings.
Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into two long rectangles.
Place the sausage meat down the center of each rectangle. Brush the edges with beaten egg.
Fold the pastry over the sausage meat and press the edges to seal. Cut each roll into smaller pieces.
Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet. Brush with a mixture of beaten egg and milk.
Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool slightly before serving.
