- 2 cups All-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Butter melted
- 1 cup Milk warm
- 1 packet Active dry yeast
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, and salt.
In a separate bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Add the yeast mixture and melted butter to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes.
Roll out the dough to about ½ inch thick and cut into circles using a biscuit cutter.
Heat a griddle over medium heat and cook the muffins for about 5 minutes on each side, until golden brown.
