Main Ingredients
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
1. In a saucepan, whisk together eggs and sugar until well combined.
2. Add milk and heavy cream, and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
4. Let cool, then refrigerate until chilled. Serve with a sprinkle of nutmeg on top.
