Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 large eggs lightly beaten
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch mixed with 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • to taste salt and white pepper
  • 2 scallions green onions chopped

Instructions 

  1. Bring the chicken broth to a boil in a pot.
  2. Add the cornstarch mixture and stir until the soup thickens slightly.
  3. Slowly pour in the beaten eggs while stirring the soup with a whisk.
  4. Add soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and white pepper to taste.
  5. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
