Doughnut Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ½ inch thickness. Cut with a doughnut cutter.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry doughnuts until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes per side.
Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly before serving.
