Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice uncooked
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 cup Onion finely chopped
  • ½ cup Parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup Pine Nuts toasted
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 jar Grape Leaves rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups Chicken Broth

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine rice, ground beef, onion, parsley, pine nuts, olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  2. 2. Place a grape leaf shiny side down. Add a spoonful of the mixture in the center. Fold the sides over and roll tightly.
  3. 3. Line the bottom of a large pot with grape leaves to prevent sticking. Arrange stuffed leaves seam side down in the pot.
  4. 4. Pour chicken broth over the stuffed leaves. Place a plate on top to keep them submerged.
  5. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer for 60 minutes until rice is cooked.
  6. 6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.
