Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 package Active dry yeast
  • 1 cup Warm water
  • ¼ cup Sugar
  • ¼ cup Butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 large Egg

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm water.
  2. 2. Add sugar, butter, salt, egg, and 2 cups of flour. Beat until smooth.
  3. 3. Stir in remaining flour to form a soft dough.
  4. 4. Knead dough on a floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
  5. 5. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
  6. 6. Punch dough down. Divide into 12 pieces and shape into balls.
  7. 7. Place on a greased baking sheet. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  8. 8. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
