  • 1 pint shucked oysters
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 units eggs beaten
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
  3. Dip oysters in beaten eggs, then coat with flour mixture.
  4. Roll oysters in breadcrumbs until well coated.
  5. Fry oysters in hot oil until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
