  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions 

  1. Slice onions into rings.
  2. Mix flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Dip onion rings in flour mixture.
  4. Whisk egg and milk together in another bowl.
  5. Dip floured rings in egg mixture.
  6. Coat rings with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot.
  8. Fry rings until golden brown.
  9. Drain on paper towels.
