- 1 lb Green Beans trimmed
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 cup Buttermilk
- 2 cups Vegetable Oil for frying
1. Heat the oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, salt, and black pepper.
3. Dip the green beans in buttermilk, then coat with the flour mixture.
4. Fry the green beans in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
5. Remove with tongs and drain on paper towels. Serve hot.
