Ingredients

  • 1 block firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Press tofu to remove excess water, then cut into bite-sized cubes.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Toss tofu cubes in the mixture until well coated.
  5. Sprinkle cornstarch over tofu and toss again.
  6. Place tofu on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and golden.
