1cupglutinous ricesoaked in water for at least 1 hour
1cupcoconut milk
¼cupsugar
½teaspoonsalt
1tablespoonsesame seedstoasted
Instructions
1. Rinse the soaked rice until the water runs clear.
2. In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, sugar, and salt. Heat until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Add the rinsed rice to the saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
4. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for 10 minutes.
5. Fluff the rice with a fork and sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
