Pour heavy cream and buttermilk into a jar.
Cover the jar with a cloth and secure it with a rubber band.
Let it sit at room temperature for 24 hours.
After 24 hours, stir the mixture and refrigerate for another 24 hours.
Your cream cheese is ready to use.
