Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Corn kernels fresh or frozen
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ cup Cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Stir in milk and beaten egg until smooth.
  3. Fold in the corn kernels.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove nuggets with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
