Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Corn kernels fresh or frozen
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- ½ cup Cornmeal
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 1 cup Milk
- 1 Egg beaten
- 2 cups Vegetable oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cornmeal, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in milk and beaten egg until smooth.
Fold in the corn kernels.
Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove nuggets with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
