Coquilles Saint Jacques

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb scallops
- ½ cup dry white wine
- ½ cup heavy cream
- ¼ cup grated Gruyère cheese
- 2 tablespoon butter
- 1 shallot, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoon flour
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add shallots and cook until translucent.
Add flour and cook for another minute.
Pour in the white wine, stirring constantly until thickened.
Add the cream and continue to stir until the mixture is smooth.
Add scallops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, sprinkle with Gruyère cheese.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
