Ingredients

  • 4 hot dogs
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 cup water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and garlic to the beef. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the tomato sauce, chili powder, cumin, salt, black pepper, Worcestershire sauce, and water. Simmer for 20 minutes.
  4. 4. Grill or cook the hot dogs in a skillet until heated through.
  5. 5. Place hot dogs in buns and top with the meat sauce. Serve immediately.
