Main Ingredients
- 1 cup conch meat, finely chopped
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ cup milk
- 1 egg beaten
- ½ cup onion, finely chopped
- ¼ cup bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- 2 cups vegetable oil for frying
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika.
Add the milk and beaten egg to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.
Fold in the chopped conch meat, onion, and bell pepper.
Heat the vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat.
Drop spoonfuls of the batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
Remove the fritters from the oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
