  • 2 lbs Pork shoulder cut into cubes
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 oz Roasted green chilies chopped
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat a large pot over medium heat and add the pork shoulder. Cook until browned.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is translucent.
  3. 3. Stir in the roasted green chilies, chicken broth, cumin, oregano, salt, and black pepper.
  4. 4. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 1 hour, until the pork is tender.
  5. 5. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if needed. Serve hot.
