Ingredients 

Salad Ingredients

  • 2 heads Romaine Lettuce chopped
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese grated

Dressing Ingredients

  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 pieces Anchovy Fillets minced
  • 1 cup Olive Oil
  • 1 piece Egg Yolk raw
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed

Croutons

  • 2 cups Bread cubed
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Toss bread cubes with olive oil and garlic powder. Spread on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy fillets, egg yolk, and lemon juice.
  4. Slowly drizzle in olive oil while whisking continuously until dressing is emulsified.
  5. In a large bowl, combine chopped romaine lettuce, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons.
  6. Pour dressing over salad and toss to coat evenly.
  7. Serve immediately.
