Ingredients 

Dough

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Filling

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Glaze

  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt to the yeast mixture. Gradually add flour and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes. Place in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 1 hour.
  4. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter over the dough. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Roll up the dough tightly and cut into 12 rolls. Place in a greased baking dish. Cover and let rise for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
