Ingredients 

Churros

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 unit egg beaten

Chocolate Sauce

  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions 

  1. In a saucepan, combine water, sugar, salt, and vegetable oil. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in flour until mixture forms a ball.
  3. Let the mixture cool for a few minutes, then beat in the egg until smooth.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan to 375°F (190°C).
  5. Pipe strips of dough into the hot oil using a piping bag with a star nozzle.
  6. Fry until golden brown, then remove with tongs and drain on paper towels.
  7. For the chocolate sauce, heat the heavy cream in a saucepan until it begins to simmer.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted and smooth.
  9. Serve churros warm with chocolate sauce for dipping.
