  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 1 unit Onion, chopped
  • 4 slices American cheese
  • 4 units Hoagie rolls
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Vegetable oil

Instructions 

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add chopped onions and cook until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
  4. Chop the beef and onion mixture with a spatula as it cooks.
  5. Place cheese slices on top of the beef mixture and let melt.
  6. Toast hoagie rolls in the skillet or oven.
  7. Fill each roll with the beef and cheese mixture.
