- 1 cup water
- ½ cup butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 4 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1 package instant vanilla pudding mix
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a saucepan, bring water and butter to a boil. Add flour and stir until a smooth ball forms. Remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Spread into a greased 13x9-in. baking dish.
Bake for 30-35 minutes or until puffed and golden brown. Cool completely on a wire rack.
In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes or until soft-set. Fold in whipped cream. Spread over puff; refrigerate for 20 minutes.
In a microwave, melt chocolate chips and butter; stir until smooth. Spread over pudding layer. Refrigerate for 20 minutes or until chocolate is set.
