- 6 Eggs
- 4 cups Water
- 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon Black Tea Leaves
- 1 stick Cinnamon
- 1 piece Star Anise
- 1 piece Orange Peel
1. Boil the eggs for 10 minutes. Remove and cool under cold water.
2. Gently crack the eggshells with the back of a spoon, but keep the shells on.
3. In a pot, combine water, soy sauce, tea leaves, cinnamon, star anise, and orange peel. Bring to a boil.
4. Add the eggs to the pot and simmer for 1 hour. Let the eggs steep in the liquid for several hours or overnight for a stronger flavor.
