Ingredients

  • 500 g Chicken Thighs cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 bunch Green Onions cut into 1-inch pieces

Sauce

  • ½ cup Soy Sauce
  • ¼ cup Mirin
  • ¼ cup Sake
  • 2 tablespoon Sugar

Instructions 

  1. 1. Soak the skewers in water for at least 30 minutes to prevent burning.
  2. 2. In a small saucepan, combine soy sauce, mirin, sake, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Set aside.
  3. 3. Thread chicken and green onions onto skewers, alternating between the two.
  4. 4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side, brushing with sauce occasionally, until chicken is cooked through.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
