Chicken Satay Ingredients
- 500 g chicken breast, cut into strips
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup coconut milk
Peanut Sauce Ingredients
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 2 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon chili garlic sauce
- ½ cup water
1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, fish sauce, brown sugar, turmeric, coriander, cumin, garlic, and coconut milk. Add chicken strips and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
3. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill chicken skewers for 5-7 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
4. For the peanut sauce, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, brown sugar, chili garlic sauce, and water in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
5. Serve chicken satay with peanut sauce on the side.
