Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces Chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 8 slices Prosciutto
  • 8 leaves Sage fresh
  • ½ cup Flour for dredging
  • ¼ cup Olive oil
  • ½ cup White wine
  • ½ cup Chicken broth low sodium
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions

  1. Place a sage leaf on each chicken breast and wrap with a slice of prosciutto. Secure with a toothpick if needed.
  2. Dredge the chicken in flour, shaking off any excess.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add white wine and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer until cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken and stir in butter to finish the sauce.
  6. Serve the chicken with the sauce drizzled over the top.
