Chicken Potstickers

Ingredients 

Filling

  • 1 lb Ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoon Soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Sesame oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Cabbage, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ginger, grated
  • 1 pack Potsticker wrappers

Cooking

  • 2 tablespoon Vegetable oil for frying
  • ¼ cup Water for steaming

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, cabbage, and ginger. Mix well.
  2. Place a small spoonful of filling in the center of each potsticker wrapper. Fold and seal the edges with water.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add potstickers and cook until bottoms are golden brown, about 2 minutes.
  4. Add water to the skillet and cover. Steam for 5-6 minutes or until the water has evaporated.
  5. Remove the lid and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the bottoms are crisp again. Serve hot.
