Main Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup Frozen peas and carrots
  • ½ cup Chopped onion
  • cup Butter
  • cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 ¾ cups Chicken broth
  • cup Milk
  • 2 pcs Pie crusts store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a saucepan, cook onions in butter until soft and translucent.
  3. Stir in flour, salt, pepper, and onion powder until well blended.
  4. Gradually stir in chicken broth and milk, cooking and stirring until thickened and bubbly.
  5. Stir in chicken and frozen vegetables. Remove from heat.
  6. Place one pie crust in a pie dish. Pour the chicken mixture into the crust.
  7. Cover with the second pie crust, seal edges, and cut away excess dough. Make several small slits in the top crust to allow steam to escape.
