Chicken Parmigiana Recipe
A classic Italian-American dish featuring breaded chicken breasts topped with marinara sauce and melted cheese.

- 4 chicken breasts boneless, skinless
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- ¼ cup fresh basil chopped
- to taste salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour, dip in beaten eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese.
Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook chicken until golden brown on both sides.
Place chicken in a baking dish, top with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
Garnish with fresh basil and serve.
