Cook the fettuccine pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Add the cooked fettuccine and chicken back into the skillet. Toss to coat everything evenly with the sauce.
Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
