Chicken and Wild Rice Soup Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken breast diced
- 1 cup wild rice
- 1 onion chopped
- 2 carrots sliced
- 2 stalks celery sliced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
In a large pot, sauté onion, carrots, celery, and garlic until tender.
Add chicken and cook until browned.
Stir in wild rice, chicken broth, water, thyme, salt, and pepper.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 45 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
