Chicken a la King

Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Cooked chicken, diced
- 1 cup Sliced mushrooms
- 1 cup Diced bell peppers
- ¼ cup Butter
- ¼ cup All-purpose flour
- 2 cups Chicken broth
- 1 cup Heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley (optional)
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add mushrooms and bell peppers, cook until tender.
Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
Gradually whisk in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
Add heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
Stir in cooked chicken and heat through.
Serve over rice or pasta, garnish with parsley if desired.
