  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, diced
  • 1 cup Sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup Diced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add mushrooms and bell peppers, cook until tender.
  3. Stir in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Gradually whisk in chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  5. Add heavy cream, salt, and pepper. Cook until thickened.
  6. Stir in cooked chicken and heat through.
  7. Serve over rice or pasta, garnish with parsley if desired.
