- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup mixed nuts chopped
- ½ cup honey
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup butter melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x9 inch baking dish.
In a large mixing bowl, combine oats and chopped nuts.
In a small saucepan, combine honey, brown sugar, and butter. Cook over medium heat until melted and smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract and salt.
Pour the honey mixture over the oats and nuts. Mix well until everything is coated.
Press the mixture firmly into the prepared baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
Let cool completely before cutting into bars.
