Main Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
- ½ cup unsalted butter cold, cut into small pieces
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese grated
- 2 tablespoon ice water
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and cayenne pepper. Add butter and mix until it resembles coarse crumbs.
Add grated cheddar cheese and mix. Gradually add ice water until the dough comes together.
Roll out dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut into strips.
Place strips on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
