Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Dried apricots
  • 1 cup Dried prunes
  • 1 cup Hibiscus flowers
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Combine dried apricots, prunes, and hibiscus flowers in a saucepan with water. Bring to a boil.
  2. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes until fruits are soft.
  3. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Transfer to a blender.
  4. Add sugar, chili powder, and salt. Blend until smooth.
  5. Strain the sauce through a fine mesh sieve. Let cool completely before serving.
