Ingredients

  • 2 cups sushi rice
  • 2 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 4 sheets nori (seaweed)
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 cup imitation crab meat, shredded
  • 1 cucumber, julienned

Instructions 

  1. 1. Rinse the sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  2. 2. Cook the rice according to the package instructions.
  3. 3. In a small bowl, mix the rice vinegar, sugar, and salt until dissolved. Pour over the cooked rice and mix well. Let it cool.
  4. 4. Place a sheet of nori on the sushi mat. Spread a thin layer of rice over the nori, leaving a small border at the top.
  5. 5. Arrange avocado, crab meat, and cucumber in a line along the bottom edge of the rice.
  6. 6. Roll the sushi tightly using the mat. Slice into bite-sized pieces with a sharp knife.
