Main Ingredients
- 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
- 8 cups Water
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 Onion chopped
- 2 Carrots sliced
- 2 Celery Stalks sliced
- 2 Potatoes cubed
- 1 cup Rice
- to taste Salt
- to taste Pepper
- 1 bunch Cilantro chopped
1. In a large pot, combine chicken, water, garlic, and onion. Bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Add carrots, celery, potatoes, and rice. Cook for another 25 minutes.
4. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
5. Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
