Ingredients

Dough Ingredients

  • 3 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups Warm water 110°F
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon Active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil
  • 2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 2 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. 1. In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until it becomes frothy.
  2. 2. Add the flour, olive oil, and salt to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.
  3. 3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. 4. Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  5. 5. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat up.
  6. 6. Punch down the dough and divide it into two equal portions. Roll out each portion on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  7. 7. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Add your favorite toppings.
  8. 8. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
