Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm water
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup honey
  • 2 eggs room temperature
  • 4 cups bread flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¼ teaspoon active dry yeast

Instructions 

  1. 1. Add the warm water, vegetable oil, honey, and eggs to the bread machine pan.
  2. 2. Add the bread flour, salt, and active dry yeast to the pan.
  3. 3. Set the bread machine to the dough cycle and start.
  4. 4. Once the dough cycle is complete, remove the dough and shape it into a braid.
  5. 5. Place the braided dough on a greased baking sheet and let it rise for about 30 minutes.
  6. 6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. 7. Bake the challah for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
