- 4 cups blackberries fresh or frozen
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup flour all-purpose
- 1 cup milk
- 1 stick butter melted
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Stir in the milk until just combined. Do not overmix.
Pour the melted butter into a baking dish.
Pour the batter over the butter but do not stir.
Distribute the blackberries evenly over the batter.
Bake for 45 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
Let cool slightly before serving.
