Ingredients

  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1.5 cups Sugar
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 0.5 cup Butter softened
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour your cake pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt; add to the creamed mixture alternately with the milk. Beat well.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack to cool completely.
