- 2 large Onions sliced into rings
- 1 cup All-purpose flour
- 1 cup Beer any kind
- 1 teaspoon Baking powder
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 quart Vegetable oil for frying
Heat oil in a deep fryer to 375°F (190°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, beer, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
Dip onion rings into the batter, then carefully place into the hot oil.
Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
